Ever since I can remember, I have had problematic hair. It's thin, weighs nothing and is difficult to find a good-looking cut that doesn't require too much styling but gives the illusion of thicker, fuller hair. I usually end up with flat on top, puffy on bottom style hair.

Being a P&GMom, I get the opportunity to try out some great products. NIOXIN is proudly part of the P&G family. NIOXIN is a treatment therapy for your hair, the secret to thicker looking hair. NIOXIN is the only salon brand with 20 years of expertise and solutions for thin-looking hair.

P&G sent me on a "Moms time out" experience at the Texure Hair Salon in downtown Ottawa earlier this month! I had a fantastic experience at the Texture Hair Salon. The staff are friendly and welcoming, they really make you feel at ease and at home. The atmosphere says professional but casual and they really know hair.

I received a full NIOXIN treatment, cut and style plus I learned a few things about hair from the amazing stylist Natalie who brought my hair back to life, not to mention finally found the perfect cut I like!

A little more about NIOXIN:

NIOXIN brand was first developed by a mom like you and me, who experienced thin-looking hair after having her first child, and has become the #1 choice by hair stylists to help women and men see fuller, thicker-looking hair. Seeing is believing, you can see results after two weeks of using NIOXIN!

NIOXIN takes a Skincare approach to hair care, offering customized system kits for a variety of hair types. Each kit includes a cleanser, scalp therepy and treatment for everyday use. There are different levels of NIOXIN, depending on what level of hair loss/thinning you're experiencing. Natalie gave me a level four.

The three step system took less than an hour to do. It does take up to three weeks with regular use of NIOXIN to really notice a thicker look but my hair did look a whole lot healthier and full of life after just one treatment and a new cut!

The first step is the shampoo, massage it into your scalp and saturate hair. Leave it in for 10 minutes (in which time it feels tingly but thats normal) and rinse out. Use the conditioner, I leave it in for about 2-3 minutes and rinse it out. After a good towel dry, use the treatment which acts as a hair booster giving thicker looking locks.

So far I can say I am satisfied with the results after a few days of use. I can't wait to see the difference after a few weeks! I like these products because you don't need to use a lot to obtain good results. It says for daily use however I don't wash my hair every single day so it's a good cleanse between treatment washes. I can imagine the kit I received to take home with me will last a good while.
