Style and uniqueness go hand in hand when it comes to my kids. I have always felt it to be important to give the kids freedom of expression when it comes to what they wear - it's not about what you wear, it's about how you wear it. With kids, their personality can shine through in something as simple as what they decide to wear. Maybe a favourite outfit matched with a pair of mismatched socks because they like both pairs and just wanted to wear them.

Whether it be dressing up to go somewhere or dressing up during playtime, our kids don't hesitate when it comes to expressing themselves and allowing their true personalities to shine right through. They know what they like and they know how to wear it!

Barbie has been an icon in fashion around the world for decades, expressing herself and her style. She is encouraging little ones to #BeSuper by using their own #SuperStyle to show the world who they are inside and out. My girls go crazy for anything Barbie from movies to fashion and dolls - they love to #BeSuper with Barbie.

It's needless to say we are excited about the new Barbie Fashionista dolls! Our girls can take their unique expression one step further and use the dolls to outwardly express what makes them beautiful on the inside and showcase their uniqueness and individuality. There are 23 unique dolls in this collection with eight different skin tones, 22 different hair styles, 18 different eye colours and each one is dressed in trendy street fashions.

You can find these and other great Barbie gear at Walmart.ca/Barbie

There is more Barbie fun to be had with the release of the new Fashionista music video in stop-motion on BeSuper.com! Stay tuned with AME for more details about that in June! ;-)

  1. Ah! We have two big Barbie fans at our house. They both express their style in their own way but both are big on doing their nails - multicoloured, lots of glitter. My oldest is also big on dressing up - for any and all events. And my youngest likes sporting her Supergirl costume randomly when the mood strikes her. - Louise
