Disclosure: I am a P&Gmom/mamanP&G. As part of my affiliation with this group I receive products and special access to P&G events and opportunities. The opinions on this blog are my own.
Being a stay at home mom means that I don't dress up very often. It tends to become a habit when you have multiple children and pets always smearing something on your clothes or in your hair. I wear minimal makeup, (5 minute makeovers!), I wear my hair up (on most days) and I wear yoga pants, a lot. Just to give you a basic picture. There's nothing wrong with this, it's me but sometimes I need some extra motivation to get going in the mornings, besides a good cup of coffee.
Some days I need a pick-me-up by doing simple things for me. I start my day on the right foot, I am energized. I feel like I can take on the day and whatever it throws my way.
The first thing, a hot shower. With smaller kids or babies in the house it can be harder to tackle this, I know I've been there but my kids are a little older now.
I try to get up a bit earlier than them on busy weekday mornings so I can enjoy this "me time". Plus, one bathroom means mama has to take advantage when she can!
I am picky when it comes to my hair (because it's so thin and unmanageable most of the time!) and my favourite shampoo for the longest time has been Pantene. My hair always feels soft, clean and *gasp* manageable. Plus, it smells nice. There are different shampoo and conditioner combinations to choose from depending on the type of hair you have and what result you're looking for like Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal and Pantene Damage Detox work great for my type of hair. I also like using the Pantene Pro V weekly rehab cream to help strengthen my hair and keep it healthy.
When you're feeling happy, you smile more. The Oral B Crossaxtion Manual toothbrush combined with Crest 3D White Brilliance Boost Polishing treatment does the trick. If you're happy and you know it, smile!
Speaking of smiling, without too much makeup, I can brighten up my look with COVERGIRL Outlast longwear moisture lipstick. I've been loving the Outlast collection, this lipstick comes in different colours including mauve and red of course!

Even if I'm not going anywhere special, it doesn't mean I can't do something to make myself feel good! You should too!
