'Tis the season to start thinking about holiday decorating, if you haven't already. I don't know about you but this year I'm feeling extra jolly about the upcoming holiday season. It's a busy time of year but it's still my favourite holiday, celebrating with family we don't get to see everyday, the food, the presents and the smiles.

Every year we dig out our decorations stored away and create a holiday atmosphere in our home. We have a lovely mix of old decorations and new. We try to add something every year like maybe an ornament for the tree or other festive decorations. This year Hallmark Canada has us covered with beautiful decorations, stocking stuffers and even gift ideas that come from the heart.

Bring a wintery welcome to the home with an Embossed Peace banner. Each panel has a beautiful embossed lettering, strung together with ribbon. $12.99 each.

This will be the first Christmas we put a tree in the living room area where the kids play. Are we crazy? No, but we do have this Keepsake Kids My First Tree which is plush and safe if the kids knock it over! You can also get little ornaments made to hang off the buttons all over the tree. $29.95 each.

Who doesn't love decorations that sing? The Time for Cookies Techno Plush is an adorable addition to our holiday theme. This pair of snowmen and their pup sing you a festive song about baking cookiesand even better? They dance, too! You can check out my video here! $17.95 with the purchase of 3 Hallmark cards or $32.95 regular price.

Traditionally, the nativity set goes under our tree. This year we are doing it a little different with new itty butts Nativity Set. It includes a plush angel, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. The box doubles as a stable setting. $39.95 each set.

Send tidings of joy in style with beautiful Holiday Boxes Cards! You can find a variety for everyone on your list from $9.99-$19.99 each. I love displaying Christmas cards we get from friends and family. This year I'll be displaying them in this beautiful "Together across the miles" ceramic card holder. Beautiful and functional for $29.95.

Give the magic of Disney (or decorate your own tree) with Disney keepsake ornaments like Disney's The Sorcerers apprentice or Disney's Pinocchio 75th anniversary (which sings "When you wish upon a star")! These are two of my new favourite ornaments for our tree!

This Porcelain Ornament set of 3 are made of sculpted porcelain with metallic details. Beautiful and functional, these can be used to dress up a gift or hung on our tree. $19.95 each set.

My little one will love this Disney Frozen: Will Anna and Elsa Miss The Ball? Puzzle and book set! Kids build the puzzle to solve the mystery of how Anna, Elsa and friends get to the ball on time. $12.95 each.

A Nordic Clipboard bundle can be a fun stocking stuffer for the list maker in your life. It can be used at the office or home, $14.95 each!

Have a traveller on your gift list? Send them on their merry way with a scented Travel candle. 8 different fragrances to choose from for $7.95 each.

For the Star Wars fan - Snowman shaped Darth Vader and Storm trooper salt and pepper shakers! These adorable ceramic shakers will make a great addition to their collection. $19.95 each set.
