My kids always want to help out in the kitchen, making and baking delightful treats. I don't mind, they make great little helpers but there are moments when the kids want to make something for themselves and that isn't always ideal. Using the stove is out of the question just yet, sharp knives and other electric appliances I use for baking and making are not for small hands.

I love little baking kits that are made for kids and can be made by kids. It not only teaches them about following directions, how to mix up recipes etc but it also gives them a sense of pride knowing they made it without mom or dads help.

Yummy Nummies Mini Kitchen Magic by Blip Toys are miniature, bakeable, makeable and snackable kits your kids will love! The best part is they can do it with minimum adult supervision! Some kits require just the fridge while others may need the microwave to cook things up!

There are different kits to choose from like Cupcake Cuties Maker, Birthday Cake Maker Party Pack and Gummy Goodies Maker kits among many others including "real" food like tacos and pizza! Each kit comes with everything the kids need to make their very own mini kitchen magic!

The kids tried their hand at the Yummy Nummies Cupcake Cuties Maker kit which they can use to make mini cupcakes - with icing and sprinkles! The kit comes with everything - the batter to the mixing bowls, icing, sprinkles and little spoons! Follow the directions, easy peasy.

When they say mini, they mean mini! The kids had fun creating these pint sized cupcakes. Although the box says it makes 10 my daughter somehow managed to make a dozen. They were quickly taste test approved by all three of my kids.

Next up - Gummy Goodies Maker which the kids created yummy, gooey goodies to share! This one is simple, add water to the powder and put it in the mold. Place the tray in the fridge and 15 minutes later, candy!

These would make a great gift for your tween baking enthusiast or as an activity at a birthday party! Yummy Nummies Mini Kitchen Magic kits can be found at Toys R Us or Walmart!
