When I was a young girl, I remember telling my parents I wanted to be a veterinarian. I loved animals but I didn't quite understand what went into being a doctor for them. In my mind, I would be taking care of them and making them feel better. Even though I never became a veterinarian, it didn't stop my parents from encouraging me to follow my dreams, whatever they may be. Just like today, I encourage my kids to dream. If my kids want to be hair dressers, writers, firefighters or doctors, they can be.

Barbie spreads a positive message to kids, you can be anything! She's got over 155 careers and counting, there isn't a plastic ceiling she hasn't broken. From Mermaid to Movie Star, Pet Vet to Police Officer, Fashionista to Fairy Princess, there are countless choices for your little ones to let their imagination soar with Barbie.

There is no such thing as too wild a dream, too big a hope or too fantastic a wish when it comes to Barbie and the tradition continues this fall with Barbie's message, "You Can be Anything"!

To celebrate, Mattel has rounded up a selection of Barbie's top career choices. Show your kids that there are no limits to their potential!

CEO Barbie

Barbie is ready to make bold business moves and strike out on her own to achieve her career dreams. Kids may not know what a CEO is, but with Barbie they're learning that it's something they can be too! It encourages them to make believe with lots of different career options, showing them that the world is their oyster. From Public Relations to investors, there's no limit to what the can be!

Barbie Careers Eye Doctor Playset

Your kids may be familiar with different types of doctors, including an optometrist. With this playset, Barbie takes care of her little patients by checking their eyes just like your kids doctors do. You could use this as a learning opportunity to discuss different types of doctors and what jobs they do.

Director Barbie

Kids love watching movies but do they know what goes on behind the scenes? Lights, camera, action! Barbie is behind the camera directing the latest masterpiece your little ones think up. Role playing helps your kids learn the different jobs from lighting to directors and actors to extras that make up a team to make their favourite movies and shows.

Let your kids imagine what they would like to be when they grow up, encourage them to follow their dreams and reach for the stars.
