The time is coming closer, only FIVE more days until Gilmore Girls - A Year In The Life streams on Netflix. I have been excited about this comeback ever since it was just a rumour swirrling around the internet.

One thing that really got me into this show was probably the mother-daughter relationships throughout. Between Lorelai and Rory, Emily and Lorelai, even Mrs. Kim and Lane had a unique relationship.

My Mother and I have always had a pretty good relationship. We have always been able to talk. Even if it's not every single day we know we are always here for eachother. I hope to grow and have that with my own daughters as they get older.

Do you share any shows with your mom or daughter (or both?). Netflix released some interesting info which proves shows like Gilmore Girls can help moms and daughters build a stronger relationship.

  • 61% of mothers and daughters feel sharing TV shows with each other helps them build a stronger relationship
  • A recent survey revealed that almost half of women (45%) wish they spoke to their mother more often
  • More than half of mother-daughter duos surveyed (54%) report post-show discussions are the best part of sharing a show together
  • Almost half of moms and daughters (45%) think watching together brings them closer.
Make a date with Mom! Grab your favourite snack (chips, chocolate, pizza and don't forget the coffee - it'll be a long night!) and settle in for some fun as the Gilmore Girls duos return bringing new laughs, tears and everything in between on November 25th only on Netflix
