Popcorn is for more than just movies, we enjoyed trying out different snack ideas from Orville Redenbacher like Popcorn bars at back to school time. Now with the holidays just around the corner we share with you some fun ways to use popcorn during your holiday festivities too!

A big bowl of white, fluffy popcorn acts as a "single bowl solution" for a variety of holiday tasks:

  • Create festive garlands by threading popcorn onto string the old fashioned way. Add fresh cranberries between every other kernel for a pop of festive colour, or red and green candies for a sweet surprise.
  • Seasoned popcorn can be displayed in holiday containers offering guests a light, fun snack that's full of fibre and satisfying crunch. It's simple, just divide popped corn into three bowls and add Parmesan cheese to one, taco seasoning to the second and hot chocolate powder to the third for a mix of savoury and sweet.
  • Here is an easy to make recipe featuring Orville Redenbacher Popcorn to serve during the holidays that everyone can enjoy! Made even more festive with the addition of red and green sugar or sprinkles. Leave them out for Santa or package them for a yummy hostess gift too! Please note this recipe contains Almonds and is not recommended for those with nut allergies but you could be inventive and try substituting the Almond for something else of your liking!
