Something I use quite often when it comes to organizing the home is labels. I label everything from kids stuff for school to things around the house like storage bins, wires, folders you name it and it probably has some kind of a label on it.

When I was asked to take a look at the Epson LabelWorks LW-300 Label Printer I was excited! Finally, I can make as many labels as I need and have them exactly as I need them without waiting on them to ship or writing ugly labels with my terrible handwriting.

The Epson LabelWorks LW-300 is a portable, handheld label printer for creating extraordinary and professional looking labels at home or in the office. The LW-300 offers a range of symbols, frames and fonts. It has many different types of tapes available to address various label making needs like binders, file or storage bins, iron-on clothing labels, safety and warning labels, gift tags, scrapbook organizing labels and much much more. Whatever you can think of labelling, you can create it with LabelWorks.

Key features include:

- 14 font types and 10 font styles
- Built-in memory stores up to 30 label design files
- Prints up to 2 lines of text
- Accommodates tapes from 6mm to 12mm wide.
- Varied tape sizes and colours including unique specialty labels are available like work and home safety (fluorescent colours, reflective, glow in the dark etc), Iron on clothing labels and Decorative tapes for scrapbooking.

LabelWorks is very simple to use and can be set up within minutes. All you do in install (six AAA) batteries and any tape you want. Power on the unit, and a folder appears which is your first file on the LabelWorks. You can choose out of the 300+ symbols or 75+ frames to add a design element. Choose one of 14 font and 10 font styles to personalize the design.

While designing a label, fonts can be easily changed without starting all over again. Print out the label by pressing the print button and once its done printing, remove it by pressing the big green cut button on the side. Voila! Instant labels of your choice.

The first label I made with the Epson LabelWorks LW-300 Label Printer!

After printing you can save your labels and also go back and edit them whenever you need to. It's a really smart device for something so simple. I can tell you the Epson LabelWorks LW-300 is something I was definitely missing out on plus the savings making my own labels for home or home office.
