One word I hate is Cancer. It affects the lives of thousands of Canadians every year, it has affected friends and family (including my own) - people we care about. It has affected our lives. Every fight is as brave as the next, I would love to one day see nobody have to fight Cancer ever again. It is important that we keep spreading the word and doing what we can to help support those who's lives have been affected by this horrible disease.

Join us against the fight for Canadians undergoing cancer treatment on February 4th, World Cancer Day. People have been showing their support by shaving their heads and raising money for cancer treatment and research.

There are many different ways you can help. One of them is joining the Canadian FireFighters #NoHairSelfie Challenge and demonstrate your support by shaving your head on World Cancer Day. All funds go to the Fire Fighters Cancer Research Fund at The Princess Margaret. Click here to find out how to join!

If you aren't ready for a total makeover by shaving your head, you can still show your support by downloading the free #NoHairSelfie app and sharing your image. One share can reach many people. You can also make a donation to the cause right through the app.

Also, join us for the #NoHairSelfie Twitter Party on February 4th at 7pm ET. Hosted by @nohairselfie and @thePMCF using hashtag #NoHairSelfie. Not only will you be helping an amazing cause by simply participating BUT you also have the chance to win $500 in prizes!
