What’s great about the live-action versions of our favourite classics is that Disney does a magical job at keeping the essence of the original while presenting a whole new world to a whole new audience.   10. In the original, Aladdin was my favourite but in the new one, Genie is. Will Smith makes a great Genie. The writers gave him some really good lines and he gave the Genie a really good character.

  31. I gotta say that I love the Genie in both films. Robin Williams made me laugh so much with his version of the Genie. I wasn't sure how Will Smith could compare but I was quite impressed with his portrayal as well.
